James Edward Fisher
1883 - 1959

Father: James Fisher
Mother: Margaret Ann Nelson Fisher
Spouse: Rose Elizabeth "Lillian" Birkin Fisher
Married: 20 December 1905 | Provo, Utah, Utah
----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
Utah State Hospital Forgotten Patients Project: James was among 500+ patients of the Utah Territorial Insane Asylum (now known as Utah State Hospital) between 1886 and 1960, buried in the Provo City Cemetery, most in unmarked graves, given a pauper's burial, alone without recognition or ceremony. The Utah State Hospital Forgotten Patients Cemetery Project requested donations to create a monument with individual plaques to honor each of these precious spirits. Thankfully, it was completed and dedicated to them October 10, 2018, in Provo City Cemetery. James' grave was marked and does not have a plaque, but the memorial was intended for him just the same.
